Delivering psychedelic rhythms, with enchanting and sublime vocals, born in Mexico City, raised between Miami and Mexico, Dama Vicke has become recognized for her dark yet tender sound that fuses alternative rock, and experimental accents, with a background in Theater and Burlesque.
The bilingual artistic visionary has constructed an award-winning career in today’s independent music scene, taking home multiple prizes such as Best Songwriter (Best of Miami 2018), Best Independent Artist and Best Lyrics (American Tracks Music Awards), and Best Art Music video, and Best Original Song at International Video Music Awards in Budapest.
She has also performed in different countries and venues, such as Bajo Circuito, Forro Bizarro, Capitan Gallo, in Mexico City, La Casa del Bombillo Verde in La Habana, Lowbrow Palace at El Paso, TX, Valley Bar, Phoenix, AZ, Garden Grove Amphitheater.
Currently, Dama is working on her full length album with producer, Sam Fisher. It is expected to be released in 2024.
